Huzo Hotel is a small, non-profit hotel run for friends. Using it means agreeing to the following.

Who can join

Anyone can join. Joining with a friend's invite still counts: you get a welcome gift, and so do they once you have settled in. One account per person. You must be 18 or older. Do not share your password with anyone, including staff; staff will never ask for it.

The rules

Everyone in the hotel plays by these. They are short on purpose; the spirit counts more than the letter.

  1. Be decent. Treat people the way you would in their living room. No harassment, bullying, hate, threats or slurs, in chat, in room names, in mottos, on badges or anywhere else.
  2. Keep it clean. No sexual content and nothing that sexualises anyone. No gore, no shock material. Rooms, pictures and names included.
  3. No scamming. A trade is what both people see in the trade window, nothing else. "Pay first", casino tricks, fake giveaways, bait rooms and any other way of taking furniture or currency by deception are scams.
  4. No cheating. No exploiting bugs, no scripts, bots, macros, packet tools or modified clients, no abusing wired or games to farm rewards. Found a bug? Tell staff and do not use it.
  5. One person, one account. Alt accounts to dodge a mute or ban, to vote twice, to farm rewards or to stack a room are not allowed. Do not share your account or use someone else's.
  6. Keep private things private. Do not post anyone's real name, address, phone, school, workplace, pictures or social accounts, your own included. Do not press anyone for theirs.
  7. Do not pretend to be staff. No staff-like names, badges, mottos or claims, and no telling people you can ban, give currency or read their messages.
  8. Respect other people's rooms. The owner sets the tone of a room. Do not flood, spam, block doors, camp or wreck the place. If you are asked to leave, leave.
  9. No advertising. No other hotels, no money-making schemes, no referral links, no selling anything. A link to a song or a picture that fits the room is fine.
  10. Nothing here is for sale. Credits, diamonds, furniture, badges and accounts have no monetary value. Do not buy, sell or trade them for real money or for anything outside the hotel.
  11. Do not make staff's job harder. No false reports, no baiting people into breaking rules, no arguing a decision in the room where it was made. Disagree? Talk to the owner.
  12. The law applies. What is illegal outside is against the rules inside: threats, extortion, hacking, sharing illegal material, harassment of minors, all of it.

Money

Nothing here is for sale and nothing will be. Credits, diamonds, furniture and badges are given out for taking part and have no monetary value. Do not buy, sell or trade them for real money or anything outside the hotel.

Content and ownership

The hotel is built on community software and game assets that belong to their respective owners. Huzo Hotel is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any company. This is a hobby project for education and nostalgia; it may go away at any time, and nothing in it is guaranteed to persist.

When rules are broken

Staff can warn, mute, kick, ban and remove content, and will use judgement. The usual ladder is a word, then a mute, then a ban of hours or days, then a permanent one. Scamming, cheating, sharing private information and anything illegal skip the ladder. A ban says why and for how long on the page you land on. If you think a decision was wrong, talk to the owner.

Changes

These rules can change. The date at the bottom tells you when they last did.
